Delicious Sehri Recipe: Chicken Bhindi for Ramadan 🌙

Ingredients:

500g chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces

250g fresh okra (bhindi), washed and sliced

2 onions, finely chopped

2 tomatoes, chopped

3-4 green chilies, slit

2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

Salt to taste

Cooking oil

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat a few tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Once the onions are golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a couple of minutes until the raw smell disappears.
  4. Now, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
